Will Barnard

Will is the proud owner of Monet Gardening. Often seen on the job with Ernie. Will likes to bring a genuine and hardworking attitude to the job to make gardens beautiful.

Ernie

Ernie is the entertainer of the company. Often seen with Will on the job, sniffing around or cuddling the clients.

Steven Goodyear

Steven is the Founder of Monet Gardening in 2013, With well over a decade of experience in the field. He is Living up life in the sunny south of France. But is always happy to give his input on garden designs.

How it all started.

November 2013

Steven founded Monet Gardening in 2013. After creating a Beautiful garden in France, he came back to England to start designing and creating gardens for people who visited his own in France. This led to Monet Gardening being created, named after Claude Monet's own garden. Steven then spent the next decade growing and delicately caring for the company and its many client's gardens, until late 2023.

June 2023

With a History of gardening for family, friends and himself. Will joined Steven whilst trying to find what career would suit him best, never thinking that he could actually turn a passion into his day to day work life. Steven recognised the ambition and drive will had with all the ideas for the company, and as steven was looking to retire back to France anyway, he decided to trust Will with the responsibility of running Monet Gardening. With a slow transition Will officially took over Monet in October 2023.

Now

Will has spent the last few years growing Monet back up in west Hertfordshire, Learning new, interesting things about his craft every day with his partner in crime, Ernie, by his side.
